Chloroneb

Chloroneb belongs to the chemical class of aromatic hydrocarbons (chlorinated benzenes). It is a systemic fungicide with pronounced protective and curative properties, designed to combat soil-borne and seed-borne infections.

The mechanism of action involves disrupting the cell division processes of fungi. Chloroneb actively inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis, which leads to the arrest of mycelium growth of the pathogen.

The product quickly penetrates the tissues of seedlings and roots, providing long-lasting protection for the young root system against infection penetration from the soil.

Unlike contact products, chloroneb is capable of moving within the plant, which significantly increases efficacy in protecting zones of active growth.

This substance is often used in the form of seed treatments because it possesses high bioavailability in the zone where the seed contacts soil moisture.

The main spectrum of chloroneb application is aimed at suppressing pathogens of the oomycete class, including Pythium (pythium rot) and Rhizoctonia (rhizoctonia disease).

It is effective against a complex of diseases that cause "damping-off" of seedlings, as well as root and basal rots of agricultural crops.

It is used to protect vegetable crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, as well as legumes and sugar beets from soil-borne infections during early development stages.

The effect of the product is particularly sought after in conditions of high soil moisture, which favor the development of fungal diseases.

Chloroneb effectively reduces the level of seed and soil infestation, promoting uniform and healthy emergence even under unfavorable agro-climatic conditions.

Application rates for the product vary depending on the crop, soil type, and the intensity of the infectious background. The seed treatment method before sowing is predominantly used.

When treating seeds, the application rate is calculated based on the weight of the seed material, ensuring uniform coverage of the seed coat with the working solution.

In case of soil application, the product can be used as a drench in rows or by incorporating it into the top layer of substrate in nurseries and greenhouses.

The duration of the protective action of the product ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, which is usually sufficient to protect seedlings during the critical period of vulnerability to soil pathogens.

It is not recommended to exceed regulated dosages to avoid phytotoxicity for sensitive crop varieties.

Chloroneb requires strict adherence to safety measures during handling: use of personal protective equipment for respiratory organs, skin, and mucous membranes.

The product may have moderate toxic effects on aquatic organisms; therefore, it is necessary to prevent any runoff of the solution into water bodies and sewage systems.

The substance must be stored in dry, cool rooms, out of the reach of children and animals, and away from food and feedstuffs.

When working with treated seeds, it is strictly forbidden to use them for food or feed purposes for humans or livestock.

In crop rotation, it is not recommended to plant crops on plots where high doses of the product have recently been applied without observing the waiting interval established by the regulations.
