Oresitrophe is a genus of perennial herbaceous plants belonging to the Saxifragaceae family. This genus is monotypic, represented primarily by Oresitrophe rupifraga, which is native to the temperate, shaded mountain regions of Northeast China.
The plant is characterized by a strong, creeping rhizome and large, rounded or heart-shaped basal leaves. These leaves often exhibit pubescence, forming an attractive, low-growing ground cover that thrives in undisturbed forest floor environments.
