Nacojapi mealybug
The mealybug Gnus nacojapi belongs to the Pseudococcidae family, order Hemiptera. It is a small insect often covered with a white or pinkish waxy coating that protects it from environmental stress.
Adult females are generally immobile, possess an oval body, and can reach several millimeters in length. Males are rare, winged, and exist primarily for mating purposes, making them very difficult to spot.
