Dedinovskaya8 is a variety of oats (wheat) intended for cultivation in Russia, featuring high yield and excellent adaptability to various climatic conditions. The plant is characterized by resistance to powdery mite, rot, and leaf diseases, as well as the ability to recover quickly after harvesting. The optimal growth temperature is 18‑22 °C, and the sowing period is 15‑20 days after the beginning of autumn.
Key characteristics include a high protein percentage (≈12‑13 %) and a soft grain texture, making it suitable for both industrial production and home use. Dry matter yield reaches 8–10 t/hectare under normal conditions, while seeds reach 500–600 kg/hectare. The plant grows well on sandy and clay soils but shows weak adaptability to dry soils.
The «Dedinovskaya8» variety also boasts high forage properties: drought and cold resistant, it has a deep root system (over 2 m), ensuring good soil preservation. It is suitable for pasture and mowing use, as well as hay material. Seeds maintain germination for over five years under favorable conditions, and the full set of documents confirms the variety purity and sowing qualities of the seeds, meeting GOST requirements.
