Fescue NOVOSIBIRSKAYA 21

Stable yields in challenging environments

The 'Novosibirskaya 21' meadow fescue is the go-to choice for those prioritizing reliable forage production in regions with unpredictable weather.

Operational performance

• Disease resistance: This variety shows high resistance to gray rot and root rots, which often claim up to 20% of the yield in moist soils. By selecting this variety, you minimize fungicide costs, directly reducing the cost per unit of forage produced.
• Agronomic versatility: It thrives in both monoculture and mixed grass stands. The variety features vigorous early growth, effectively covering the soil and suppressing weeds without heavy reliance on chemicals.
• Harvesting and maintenance: The stand is uniform, simplifying machinery settings for mowers and balers. The crop does not easily lodge, which minimizes losses during swathing. Its high winter hardiness ensures the stand remains intact even after harsh, snowless winters, eliminating the need for reseeding.

For a farm owner, this means predictable green mass volumes. As a perennial crop, 'Novosibirskaya 21' can maintain its stand for 6-8 years with proper management, preserving nutritional quality throughout. This longevity significantly lowers the annual costs of pasture and meadow renewal. It is an excellent solution for those balancing minimal field maintenance efforts with stable, high-quality forage output.
