Meadow fescue 'BARON' is a perennial grass species from the Poa genus (Poa pratensis), intended for lawns, turf rolls, and sports fields. It features a dark green color and dense leaf texture, forming a lush green carpet. Growth height is 20–30 cm, with a recommended mowing height of approximately 5 cm.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse climatic conditions: it withstands heat, drought, and winters, and shows low susceptibility to diseases and pests. Thanks to rapid seed germination (approximately 2 kg per 100 m²) and high yield (8–10 t/ha under normal conditions), 'BARON' is easily reproduced and quickly fills the area.
Care for meadow fescue is simple: timely watering, weed removal, regular mowing, and moderate nitrogen fertilization maintain it in excellent condition. The variety is suitable both as a base for lawn mixes and as standalone material for decorative landscape compositions, football fields, park areas, and water bodies. The seed shelf life is 3 years from the harvest date, ensuring long-term material availability.
