BARCRIPTO – perennial ryegrass, designed for cultivation in temperate climate conditions. The variety is characterized by high yield up to 4 t/ha under optimal agronomic conditions and medium plant height (80–90 cm). Dense stems and broad leaves with a smooth surface create a stable structure that promotes good growth and root system development.
Grain quality – large light-yellow seeds containing 13–15% protein and 8–10% fat. This makes the ryegrass attractive for both flour production and feed use. The high nutritional value of the grain provides additional benefits in commercial cultivation.
The variety is resistant to major diseases: powdery mildew (Fusarium), fungal diseases (powdery leaf spot), and viral infections, as well as pests such as aphids and caterpillars. To prevent disease, it is recommended to follow the irrigation schedule, apply fungicides containing the active substance trifluoromethanol and antiseptics, and maintain optimal soil moisture. Thanks to these characteristics, BARCRIPTO ryegrass is suitable for both commercial plantations and small farms, providing a stable yield and high grain quality.
