Red fescue commutatum (Festuca rubra commutata), variety ANNALINA from the German manufacturer DSV – this is a high-performance material for creating dense and stable lawns. In a 15-kilogram package, it is intended for use in lawn mixes and blends with red fescue, increasing overall turf density. The sowing rate is 3 kg/100 m², however, to achieve higher density, it can be increased to 10 kg/100 m².
For optimal growth, it is recommended to sow in spring (April–May) or autumn (September–October). Seeds are sown at a depth of 0.5–1 cm and moderate watering is provided after sowing. The first mowing is carried out at a grass height of 6–8 cm, which promotes the development of a strong root system and improves the appearance of the lawn.
The variety is characterized by high turf density, good winter hardiness and drought tolerance. Seed growth is slow, but after mechanical damage the plant regenerates quickly. This makes ANNALINA an ideal choice for decorative lawns, sports fields, parks and gardens, as well as in blends with other grasses. Seeds should be stored in a dry, cool place at a temperature from +5 °C to +20 °C, away from moisture.
