YULIUS

The "YULIUS" variety is a high-quality perennial ryegrass seed intended for sowing as a lawn and for covering sports fields. The plant's leaves are thin yet dense, rich green in color, ensuring a thick and even carpet even after intensive wear. Seeds germinate quickly at low temperatures, and the ryegrass itself is distinguished by high resistance to soil salinity, frost, and pests.

When planning sowing, it is recommended to use a rate of 200‑300 kg/ha (2‑3 kg/centure). Seeds contain about 96 % moisture, ensuring good germination. To ensure optimal growth, the soil must be prepared: remove weeds, loosen it, add sand to heavy soils, and add lime if acidity is high. Sowing is best conducted in March‑September when air temperatures are stable.

After planting, ryegrass quickly restores damaged areas, spreading root shoots, making it ideal for zones with high load levels. Regular watering and mowing at a height of 4‑5 cm maintain coverage density and prevent the development of fungal infections. Thanks to its drought and frost resistance, "YULIUS" is suitable for both park areas and playgrounds, providing a durable and aesthetic lawn.
