Description Sobra
Sobra is a low-growing lawn grass, a blend of 60% perennial ryegrass (variety Herald) and 40% crested wheatgrass (variety Sobra). The culture is highly resistant to heavy usage: it is used for both sports fields and pastures. The grass has a smooth surface, the leaves are soft and narrow up to 4 mm, slightly curved at the top, and the stem height varies from 40 to 60 cm.

Since Sobra consists of two types of grass, it maintains a balance between rapid growth and durability. Perennial ryegrass sprouts quickly (12–14 days), while crested wheatgrass appears slightly later (22–25 days). This ensures a stable cover throughout the season. The grass withstands cold well, adapts to various climatic conditions, and does not require specific soil types.

For planting, a dense sowing is recommended: 3.0–3.5 kg of seeds per 100 m², sowing depth – 1–1.5 cm. After sowing, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the grains, perform compaction, and water for the first two days. When laying, complex fertilizers are applied (3.5–4 kg per 100 m²), and for subsequent feeding – 1.5–2 kg per 100 m². Regular mowing (2–3 times a month) maintains a neat and tidy appearance of the lawn.

Sobra has high viability: it can live for more than ten years with proper care and withstands intense loads thanks to a dense turf and active spread through rhizomes. This makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a reliable and durable lawn with minimal maintenance requirements.
