IliaDE oat grass is a variety of oat designed for winter sowing. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good grain quality: the average sheaf weight is about 3-4 kg/hectare, and protein content is 13-15%. It is resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and leaf spot, and tolerates adverse climatic conditions well. Sowing is recommended during the first to second week before the onset of cold weather at a soil temperature of +5°C.
IliaDE is characterized by good resistance to pests, lodging, and drought, which is confirmed by high scores in trials. The variety has late heading, and the leaves are soft and easily digestible, making it particularly suitable for feed mixtures.
In commercial oat cultivation, IliaDE is used as a base for cereal crops and feed production. Thanks to the combination of high yield, high protein content, and resistance to adverse conditions, this variety ensures a stable yield in the winter period.
