Shadow lawn is a specially developed shade grass mix that grows excellently in partial shade and on open areas. The composition includes various oat species (red and sheep), meadow fescue, and perennial ryegrass, ensuring a dense and resilient turf even with insufficient lighting.
One of the key advantages of the lawn is its high wear resistance and ability to prevent moss growth. Thanks to this, it is ideal for playgrounds, recreational areas, and any areas with intensive use. The grass mix also tolerates harsh winter conditions well, maintaining its decorative appearance and density even after cold periods.
For planting, a rate of 30–50 g/m² is recommended (or 40 g/m² for a new lawn), and mowing height – from 15 to 20 mm. During summer drought-free periods, regular watering is required, while winter sowing should be done between April and November. Regular mowing and timely fertilization will help maintain the lawn in excellent condition for many years.
