Fescue SEVERYANKA 6

A Reliable Choice for Resilient Turf

The «Severyanka 6» fescue, developed by the N.I. Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (VIR), is a specialized variety engineered for high-traffic landscape areas. It balances visual appeal with the physical toughness required for public and private use.

Practical Applications

• Urban Landscaping: Ideally suited for parks and public squares. Its low growth habit (20-40 cm) significantly reduces maintenance costs by minimizing the frequency of mowing.
• Residential Lawns: A top-tier choice for homeowners looking for a dense, vibrant green carpet that can withstand daily use without thinning out.
• High-Traffic Zones: Given its exceptional resistance to trampling, this variety is a key component in grass seed mixtures designed for playgrounds and high-activity outdoor areas.

The primary advantage of «Severyanka 6» is its biological plasticity and decorative quality. It forms a uniform, lush green surface that remains resilient under mechanical pressure, making it a pragmatic solution for professional agronomists and landscape designers seeking long-term performance.
