Fescue TETRAX

Why "Tetrax" has become a benchmark for premium lawns

Being a tetraploid tall fescue, the difference from standard varieties is evident immediately. The deep, dark-green blades retain their color until late autumn without fading or losing density.

Performance and Resilience

In the field, "Tetrax" is a true standout. What any owner will appreciate most is its natural immunity to powdery mildew. While other turf mixtures often struggle with fungal issues after heavy rains, this variety remains clean and robust. The originators at Agroscope and Delley Seeds and Plants clearly focused on adaptability: the lawn thrives during dry spells due to its deep root system, yet remains resilient in waterlogged conditions.

Practical Insights

• Establishment: The seed germinates uniformly, quickly forming a dense turf that stands up well to moderate traffic.
• Maintenance: Despite its vigorous growth, the mowing frequency is moderate. You won't be tethered to the mower every other day, saving both time and equipment fuel.
• Visual Appeal: The dark-green hue provides a sophisticated look, maintaining high decorative quality even in partially shaded areas.

If you need a lawn solution that doesn't require constant recovery after each season, Deutsche Saatveredelung delivers a highly balanced product. It is a clear example of how professional breeding significantly simplifies lawn management for the end-user.
