Conni Meadow Grass – a perennial grass with an upright growth habit, forming a dense and even lawn from numerous shoots. The turf height is 20–40 cm, and the leaves are thin and intensely green, giving the surface a beautiful uniform appearance.
The variety is characterized by high wear resistance and resistance to most diseases of meadow grass, including red thread. It is excellent for both decorative lawns and sports fields thanks to its elasticity and ability to quickly recover after mowing. Conni tolerates moderate droughts well, but additional irrigation is required during prolonged dry periods.
Conni shows wide adaptation to various climatic conditions: it prefers moderately moist, fertile soils with pH 5.5–6.5 and grows well in aerated loamy and clay-loam soils. It is winter-hardy, frost-resistant, and withstands prolonged flooding, as well as saline conditions due to its good salt tolerance. The sowing rate is 4 kg per 100 m², and the plant can persist in the turf for over 15 years, reaching full development already by 2–3 years of life.
