Vilor is a Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis), a perennial grass widely used as a turfgrass. The plant is characterized by high wear resistance and cold tolerance, making it an ideal choice for creating a dense green cover on sports fields, children's parks, walking areas, and various types of lawns.
Vilor has flexible soil requirements: it grows successfully on both light sandy soils and heavy loams. For light soils, the optimal seeding rate is 3–4 kg per centner (30–40 g/m²), while for heavy soils it is 4–5 kg per centner (40–50 g/m²). The grass roots quickly, forming a powerful turf and dense grass, which ensures resistance to mechanical wear.
Vilor blends perfectly with other turf varieties, such as fescue or red fescue. Such a combination improves color diversity and cover texture, and increases the overall heat tolerance of the lawn. The grass withstands slight salt pollution, endures winters, low temperatures, and frost, making it a reliable choice for regions with a harsh climate.
In general, Vilor is a universal, durable, and easy-to-maintain turf grass capable of providing a beautiful and functional green cover under various operating conditions.
