Bluegrass Limagie

German Excellence in Turfgrass Genetics

The ‘Limagi’ Kentucky bluegrass variety, developed by Euro Grass Breeding KG, stands as a hallmark of professional turf management. Originating from the expertise of Deutsche Saatveredelung, this variety has been specifically engineered to thrive in European climates while meeting the rigorous demands of both decorative and high-traffic recreational surfaces.

Performance and Durability

What sets ‘Limagi’ apart is its dual-purpose nature, excelling as both a luxury lawn component and a resilient solution for sports infrastructure. Its genetic profile ensures a dense, dark-green canopy that resists wear and tear while maintaining a uniform texture.

• Disease Resilience: High resistance to powdery mildew and red thread ensures the turf remains healthy with minimal chemical intervention.
• Efficiency: With a recommended seeding rate of 20–25 g/m², it provides excellent coverage and establishes a robust root system early on.
• Aesthetic Appeal: The deep, dark-green color provides a sophisticated look suitable for premium landscapes and intensive sports facilities.

‘Limagi’ is more than just a seed—it is a long-term investment in turf longevity. Whether used for a professional stadium or an upscale residential area, the consistency and quality delivered by Euro Grass Breeding KG provide assurance that the turf will withstand environmental stressors and maintain its elite appearance throughout the seasons.
