BARLEXAS II – a high-efficiency oat variety, specifically developed for cultivation in temperate climates. It is characterized by high yields of up to 8–9 t/ha and excellent grain passability due to its flake structure, making it an ideal choice for both grain production and use as a fodder crop.
The variety shows good resistance to main agronomic stresses: powdery mildew, powdery scab, and various fungal infections. This allows for maintaining a stable yield even under unfavorable weather conditions. High protein and fiber content makes the grain a valuable feed for livestock.
For optimal growth, sowing is recommended from March 15 to April 30 at soil temperatures between 12 °C and 18 °C, with a seeding rate of 1–2 kg/m². This approach ensures maximum passability and area utilization efficiency, as well as promotes rapid rooting and development of healthy vegetation.
