Oatgrass "BLAIDRANNER2" is a reed oat variety intended for winter grain crops and grown in temperate climatic conditions. It is characterized by high yield: 7–8 tons/hectare are achieved with optimal agronomic practices. Such results are due to good disease resistance, including powdery mildew, fungal infections, and viruses, as well as to pests, such as caterpillars.
The grain quality of the variety is characterized by high protein and starch content, which ensures excellent milling performance. The growth period is 90–100 days with sowing at the end of September – early October, after which the harvest is collected over a short period.
For successful cultivation of "BLAIDRANNER2" moderate irrigation and fertile soils are required. With proper care, the grain storage period is 1–2 years. The variety is suitable both for commercial production and for small farms, providing stable income and high product quality.
