CONNI Meadowgrass (Poa pratensis) is a high-quality variety of meadow fescue, distinguished by its vertical growth type and numerous shoots. Thanks to its dense leaf structure, it forms an even lawn with good wear resistance, making it suitable for both decorative areas and sports facilities.
The CONNI variety demonstrates excellent adaptation to various climatic conditions. European trials have shown that it effectively resists most meadow fescue diseases. Variety characteristics include a scale of 1–9 (where 9 is the best), narrow leaves, and high density, as well as a good price-to-quality ratio.
For successful sowing, loamy soil with a pH of 6–7 and slight permeability is required. It is recommended to dig up to a depth of 10–15 cm and loosen the surface by 2–3 cm. Sowing is carried out at a rate of 2–2.5 kg/ha at a depth of 2–5 mm. After the lawn is laid, regular watering (1–2 times a week), frequent mulching (5–8 cm), and trimming (2–3 times a month) are required. Thanks to these measures, the fescue quickly regenerates and maintains its decorative appearance throughout the season.
