Fescue BEUDIN

Why "Beudin" is the choice for aesthetes and professionals

Working with DLF lawn mixtures, you quickly get used to consistency. The "Beudin" red fescue variety is all about predictable results. If the priority is a combination of turf density and visual appeal, this variety delivers value for every cent invested.

Operation and Durability

The main advantage is high wear resistance. While ordinary grass might thin out after a few weeks of heavy use, "Beudin" holds its shape perfectly. Its root system spreads both deep and wide, creating a dense turf that naturally outcompetes weeds. Even under intense foot traffic, it retains its deep green color, which is critical for high-end decorative landscaping.

Maintenance Highlights

• Mowing: Due to its moderate growth rate, you save time on maintenance. The lawn doesn't need daily trimming, staying neat much longer than competitors.
• Watering: This variety shows excellent drought tolerance, a hallmark of Danish DLF breeding. This reduces irrigation costs and keeps the lawn vibrant during hot spells.
• Disease Resistance: "Beudin" demonstrates a high immunity to fungal diseases, simplifying agro-technical maintenance—less chemical input, more eco-friendliness.

If you are looking for a balance between a picture-perfect look and the ability to withstand real-world use in parks or private estates, this variety from Dlf Seeds A/S is a reliable workhorse. It adapts well to various soils, recovers quickly, and requires minimal attention once established.
