GREENLIGHT – a versatile fescue designed to create a dense and durable lawn on any soil type, including shaded and sunny areas. The seed mix composition includes the best varieties: red fescue (Festuca rubra) 10 %, tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) 5 %, perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) 15 % and annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) 25 %. Such a combination ensures a thick, even cover capable of withstanding partial shading, short droughts and frost. The lawn recovers quickly after damage, making it ideal for leisure areas, parks, sports fields, and even football pitches.
For successful sowing, it is recommended to prepare the soil: remove weeds and stones, dig to a depth of 15–20 cm, add garden humus (4–5 bags per 100 m²) and compact the surface. Sowing is carried out on a dry, windless day with relative cloudiness; seeds are distributed evenly – approximately 30 g/m². After seedlings emerge and reach a height of 8–10 cm, the first mowing is performed down to 1–2 cm, followed by maintaining the desired height.
Lawn care is simple: regular watering during the summer period (especially in dry spells), fertilizing with fertilizers high in nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. Under heavy snowfall, excessive pressure on plants should be avoided.
