Fescue GREENLIGHT

«Greenlight» is a smart combination of tall fescue and red fescue, designed to withstand real-world use while staying visually appealing.

Starting with the seeding phase, the performance is consistent. With a recommended seeding rate of 30–40 g/m², it establishes a dense cover that leaves little room for weeds to penetrate. Being developed by DLF Seeds A/S in Denmark, the quality is evident in the root development. The tall fescue component digs deep, which significantly improves drought tolerance, while the red fescue fills in the gaps to create a lush, uniform carpet.

Operational insights

• Durability: The high resistance to trampling makes it perfect for high-traffic zones, such as family backyards or utility areas.
• Low Maintenance: Compared to high-maintenance ornamental lawns, this mixture is forgiving. It requires less water once established, saving both time and resources.
• Mowing: The growth rate is manageable, meaning you won't be trapped on your mower every single week. It keeps a clean, professional look even if you miss a session by a day or two.

If you need a reliable turf that balances aesthetic quality with extreme durability, this DLF product is an investment that pays off in low maintenance and long-term ground cover performance.
