Bluegrass «Rafael» is a highly productive winter wheat variety intended for the production of bread and cereals. The grains of this variety are distinguished by their bright red color, high protein content (about 12–13%) and good shrinkage when baking, which makes it especially valuable in bakery production.
The variety is characterized by high yields – up to 8–9 t/ha under optimal conditions, as well as resistance to the main diseases of wheat, including bunt, black mold, and smut. The fertile mass of grains is 70–75% of the total seed mass, and the growing periods are 120–130 days. It is recommended to sow when the temperature is between 15-20°C with moist soil conditions, using NPK fertilizers in a ratio of 1:2:1.
«Rafael» is also widely used as a component of lawn mixtures for sports grounds and areas with high load. In the composition of the «Supersport» mixture, it accounts for 25% of the total mass, which ensures resistance to trampling, rapid regeneration after mechanical damage, and a dense, compact turf. Thanks to these properties, bluegrass is suitable for sports fields, parks, kindergartens, and other areas with significant load.
