Fescue Trophy

A Reliable Foundation for Your Lawn: "Trophy" Fescue by DLF

When creating a durable green space capable of withstanding climate challenges, the choice of cultivar is paramount. "Trophy" tall fescue from the Danish breeder DLF Seeds A/S is a premium selection for those who value both aesthetics and extreme resilience.

The Secret to Its Durability

The core advantage of "Trophy" lies in its innate biological defense. In conditions of high humidity or prolonged rainfall, where most grass varieties succumb to fungal pressure, this cultivar remains stable. Its robust genetic resistance to helminthosporium, leaf rust, and powdery mildew significantly reduces the need for constant fungicide applications, making it an ideal choice for both commercial landscaping and private gardens.

Versatile Applications

• Decorative Landscaping: The vibrant green foliage maintains its color throughout the growing season, forming a dense and uniform turf carpet.
• Erosion Control: The deeply developed root system of the tall fescue effectively anchors soil on slopes and embankments, preventing erosion and runoff.

Sowing Guidelines

To achieve the best turf density, the manufacturer recommends a seeding rate of 30–40 g/m². This density ensures a healthy stand capable of outcompeting weeds during the crucial establishment phase.

"Trophy" is not merely a lawn grass; it is a professional-grade tool for creating infrastructure that doesn't require constant maintenance. If you are looking for predictable, high-quality results with minimal intervention, this Danish-bred variety from DLF is an excellent investment in your landscape.
