Fescue AMARONE

Professional turf solutions with DLF Amarone

For those involved in professional landscaping or managing large estates, the choice of grass variety is more than just aesthetics; it is about performance and reduced maintenance costs. The 'Amarone' fescue variety from the Danish breeder DLF has established itself as a reliable choice for long-term landscaping projects.

Real-world performance

The standout feature of Amarone is its inherent resistance to Fusarium. For any groundskeeper, this is a significant advantage, as it drastically reduces the time and money spent on fungicide applications during humid spring months. Danish seed breeding by DLF Seeds A/S ensures that the turf maintains a consistent, healthy appearance even when conditions are less than ideal.

• Growth dynamics: With a plant height of 40-60 cm, Amarone forms a dense, durable turf that stands up well to regular maintenance and mowing routines.
• Visual appeal: The grey-green color of the foliage provides a sophisticated, modern look that remains vibrant throughout the growing season, making it perfect for premium decorative landscaping.
• Maintenance: Due to its high resistance profile, this variety requires less intensive care, making it an economically viable choice for both public parks and private gardens.

Working with genetics from DLF Seeds A/S offers a level of predictability that is vital for professional results. You are not just buying seeds; you are investing in a product developed to withstand the most common turf diseases. Amarone is easy to manage, requires no specialized intervention, and allows owners to spend more time enjoying their green spaces rather than managing constant recovery cycles after seasonal stressors. It is a robust, high-quality solution for anyone prioritizing performance and aesthetics.
