Fip Brachypodium - this is a high-yield variety of oat with excellent resistance to adverse climatic conditions. The plant reaches a height of 120–125 cm, has light green leaves of medium width and without pronounced inflorescences, which makes it attractive for both hay production and pasture use. FIP differs in early maturity and winter hardiness, as well as good drought resistance, which allows it to maintain high yields for 50–55 days of the growing period.
The variety is characterized by high dry matter content (75-120 c/ha) with 11.5-14.4% crude proteins and 32.1-32.7% crude fiber. This makes it a valuable feed material for livestock: it is suitable for both hay production and pasture areas, providing livestock with a quality source of energy and protein.
FIP also shows good resistance to diseases, including fungal damage and helminthosporiosis. Due to the dense green cover when growing on lawn areas, yields can reach 150-200 c/ha. The variety is suitable for a wide range of climatic zones - from moderate to cooler ones, and also demonstrates good germination ability and resistance to low temperatures. This makes fip oat a universal choice for both grain production and feed purposes.
