Description FREZY
FREZY – ornamental grass from the Festuca genus (fescue), reaching a height of 20–30 cm and a width of 15–25 cm. Leaves are narrow, dense, oblong, pointed with a silvery-blue tint, forming a dense tuft and creating a delicate moss-like surface. Flowering occurs in June–July: small light-green panicles up to 30 cm long do not droop and retain their color throughout the season, including winter.

FREZY prefers sunny, dry locations but can also grow in partial shade. The soil should be well-drained, fertile, and slightly moist. The plant is hardy to –25 °C, resistant to diseases and pests, making it ideal for use as a decorative lawn, in rock gardens, alpine slopes, container plants, as well as for covering paths and open spaces. Thanks to its soft green texture with bright panicles, it serves as an excellent alternative to traditional lawns.

An important aspect is its ability to maintain its decorative appearance throughout the year: even after flowering, the leaves remain dense, and the panicles continue to delight the eye. This makes fescue FREZY a popular choice for landscape design where a durable and aesthetically pleasing covering material is needed without the need for regular mowing.
