Fescue STARLETT

Engineering the Perfect Turf

The Starlett tall fescue variety, developed by the Danish manufacturer DLF, is a specialized solution for high-traffic turf areas. Its performance is rooted in a robust physiological structure designed for durability and rapid establishment.

Technical Advantages

• Disease Resistance: Through meticulous breeding by Dlf Seeds A/S, Starlett has been engineered with a high threshold of resistance against critical pathogens, including root rot, powdery mildew, and late blight (Phytophthora). This biological robustness reduces the reliance on intensive chemical maintenance.
• Durability: With a high tolerance for heavy foot traffic and physical wear, this variety is ideal for sports facilities and recreational areas. Its deep root system and structural integrity prevent turf degradation over time.
• Growth Dynamics: Starlett offers an efficient establishment rate, with germination typically occurring within 7–14 days. Its low-growing habit (20–40 cm) ensures aesthetic appeal and reduces the frequency of necessary mowing.

Choosing Starlett from DLF ensures a resilient green space that maintains its deep green color and density, providing a long-term solution for professional and residential landscape management.
