Nagano carrot is a mid-early hybrid, distinguished by high marketable yield and excellent taste qualities. The root crop has a long cylindrical shape with slight tapering and a slightly pointed base, characteristic of the Berlikum/Nantes type. The root crop is richly orange in color, both in the core and in the skin. The mass of one root crop varies from 99 to 192 grams, which ensures a significant output of marketable products - from 84 to 91%. Dry matter content is 10.6-13.1%, total sugar - 5.9-7.6%, and carotene up to 11.6 mg per 100 grams of raw product, which makes the carrot not only tasty but also beneficial.


The Nagano variety is recommended for growing in fresh form and for winter storage, which expands its possibilities for use in the food industry and at home. The yield of this variety significantly exceeds the indicators of standard varieties Nantes 4 and Losinoostrovskaya 13, reaching a maximum of 1220 centners per hectare in the Moscow region. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, leaves are long, green and medium-cut, which contributes to good plant development and resistance to adverse conditions.
