Norvolk F1 carrot is an early hybrid of the Nantes group with a maturation period of about 98 days, which can be harvested as early as 85-90 days depending on cultivation technology. The root crops have a conical shape, a length of about 20-25 cm, and an average weight from 70 to 100 grams. A distinguishing feature is the solid, intense orange color of the pulp and core, which is retained even after washing, and the top of the root crop does not green, which enhances its market appearance. The foliage is dark green and tall, indicating good vegetative activity of the plant.

The Norvolk hybrid differs in its versatility of application: it is suitable for both trade in bunches and direct field sales, as well as for processing, particularly for juices. Furthermore, the carrot stores well for a relatively short period — up to 3-4 months, making it convenient for distribution and use in the food industry. Due to its excellent taste qualities, this variety is popular among consumers.

Norvolk carrot is adapted for cultivation in all agro-climatic regions, which is confirmed by practical trials. Under conveyor cultivation conditions, this hybrid has proven itself as one of the first for harvest collection, which allows for effective planning of agrotechnical measures. The recommended seeding rate is from 0.8 to 1.4 million seeds per hectare, which ensures optimal planting density and high yield.
