Carboli

Carboli — this is a new hybrid of Nantes-type carrot, developed by the breeding company Seminis. It has a medium maturation period, ranging from 115 to 120 days after sowing. The roots are cylindrical in shape with a blunt tip, 21–23 cm long, and bright orange in color. The plant’s leaves are upright, healthy, and strong, not prone to bolting, which contributes to steady growth and high-quality harvest.

This hybrid exhibits high resistance to cracking and splitting, significantly reducing losses during mechanical harvesting. Additionally, Carboli shows enhanced resistance to diseases such as Alternaria and powdery mildew, ensuring reliable and stable yields under various climatic conditions. High yield and good marketability make this hybrid attractive for commercial cultivation.

Carboli is suitable for a wide range of uses: it is excellent for fresh marketing, canning, freezing, and long-term winter storage.
