SUPER MUSCAT

The Super Muscarot variety is a late or medium-late variety of the Nantes type. It features a medium-length root crop measuring 15-18 cm, with a cylindrical shape and a blunt tip. The root crop is distinguished by its bright orange core and surface, while the core is very small, which is one of the variety's advantages. The mass of a single root crop varies from 90 to 160 grams. The taste qualities of the carrot are excellent, making it versatile for consumption both fresh and for long-term storage, while the variety preserves better than most others. Sowing Super Muscat carrot is recommended at the earliest possible times — at the end of April or beginning of May, winter sowing is also possible. Seeds are sown at a depth of 2-2.5 cm with row spacing of 20 cm. To improve germination, cover sowing with film until sprouts appear. After sprouts appear, conduct the first thinning, leaving 1-1.5 cm between plants, and after two weeks, conduct the second thinning with an increased distance to 4 cm. The vegetative period from germination to harvest is 95-110 days. For successful cultivation and abundant fruiting, the Super Muscat carrot variety requires timely watering, regular weeding, soil loosening, and fertilization with mineral fertilizers. These agro-technical measures contribute to good plant growth and ensure high crop quality. Due to its characteristics and storage resistance, this variety is an excellent choice for both private gardens and commercial cultivation.
