This universal-type variety is suitable for cultivation on various agrofond and preceding crops, making it popular under different climatic and soil conditions. Odessa Ryzhinka features a short stem, which ensures resistance to lodging and head shattering, as well as high winter hardiness.

The growing period of the variety ranges from 258 to 273 days, with plant height varying between 76.8–86.3 cm. The recommended seeding rate is 5.0–5.5 million seeds per hectare. The potential yield reaches 58.8–68.8 centners per hectare, confirmed by state variety trials. The 1000-grain weight falls within the range of 40.9–45.1 grams, with protein content at 14.0–14.1%, ensuring high grain quality. Gluten content in the grain reaches 29.3–30.1%, positively affecting the technological properties of flour.
