Krasnopylka wheat is a medium-maturing winter variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. The vegetation period ranges from 261 to 275 days, and plant height varies between 83–91 cm. The ear is cylindrical and medium-dense, providing good resistance to lodging and shattering. The thousand-grain weight ranges from 41.3–47.9 g, indicating high grain quality.
The variety has a high yield potential — from 5 to 7.1 t/ha — making it attractive for farmers aiming for stable and high yields. An important feature is the protein content in the grain at 13.5–14.0%, and gluten content of 29.2%, which ensures high flour strength (271–288 W). These characteristics make Krasnopylka suitable for producing high-quality flour and bakery products.
Krasnopylka exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. The variety has lodging and shattering resistance rated at 9 points, powdery mildew resistance at 8.6 points, rust resistance at 8.8 points, and Fusarium ear resistance at 9 points. Resistance to drought and other diseases is rated as medium. Due to these traits, the variety is well-adapted to various climatic conditions and is recommended for cultivation in regions such as Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytsia, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv.
