Wheat variety Struna Myronovska is a high-yielding mid-season variety recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions. This variety is distinguished by its resistance to lodging, drought, and shattering, ensuring stable yields. The plant is medium-height, reaching up to 97 cm, with a pyramidal, long, and loose ear measuring 10–12 cm. Struna Myronovska belongs to the intensive type of varieties and requires early sowing dates to achieve maximum productivity. The variety exhibits high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and scab, as well as moderate resistance to septoria and tolerance to rust. The grain is characterized by high quality: the thousand-grain weight ranges from 47.0–48.8 g, the test weight varies from 745 to 801 g/l, the gluten content reaches 29%, and protein content is around 14%. The grain has a 92% milling quality, indicating its high nutritional value and suitability for various processing methods. To achieve high yields, the variety requires adherence to agronomic norms, including a sowing rate of 5.5–6.0 million germinating seeds per hectare and the use of quality preceding crops such as corn, sugar beet, and potato, properly harvested from the field. Struna Myronovska requires adequate mineral nutrition and may require herbicide application for weed control.
