Romanivna

Wheat variety Romanivna is a medium-maturing winter type, registered in 2018 and developed by NAAN of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to various climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation in arid regions and under high temperatures. Romanivna exhibits good resistance to major wheat diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, Fusarium head blight, and shattering, significantly increasing yield reliability.

The potential yield of this variety ranges from 4.9 to 5.5 tons per hectare. Plant height reaches 75-80 cm, and the ear has a cylindrical shape. Grain mass per 1000 kernels is within 42.6-46.9 grams. A key feature of this variety is its high protein content — from 13.5 to 14.0%, as well as gluten — 27.8-28.4%. Dough strength (W value) ranges from 230-250, indicating high-quality grain suitable for bakery industry.
