Perlinna

Perlinna is a winter soft wheat variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It belongs to the mid-season group and is characterized by a cylindrical, medium-density ear. The vegetation period ranges from 260 to 275 days, and plant height varies between 82-100 cm. Perlinna exhibits high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring reliable yields under various climatic conditions.

The yield potential of this variety ranges from 4.8 to 9.8 tons per hectare, making it attractive for agricultural production. The variety features high protein content — from 13.2% to 14.2% — and 1000-grain weight within the 40-45 gram range. The gluten content of the variety is approximately 29.5%, and the flour strength is 260-285 W, indicating high grain quality and favorable technological properties for processing.

Perlinna demonstrates resistance to major diseases such as brown rust, powdery mildew, and Fusarium ear blight, as well as to stress factors including drought and lodging. These characteristics make it a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality wheat yields across various agro-climatic zones.
