Mironovska wheat half-sort intensive type is intended for cultivation using intensive technology, which ensures high yields under optimal mineral nutrition and timely protection against diseases, pests, and weeds. This variety is characterized by good tillering, allowing a seeding rate of 4.0 to 6.0 million germinating seeds per hectare depending on sowing time and agro-climate. It is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions, where it shows high adaptability and stable yields.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, drought, and shattering, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. It exhibits resistance to brown rust and powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to septoria. The wheat belongs to the mid-early spring wheat group, enabling harvest at optimal times. The developer of this variety is the Mironovskiy Institute of Wheat named after V. N. Remesla, NAAN of Ukraine.
The grain quality of the Mironovska variety is high: the 1000-grain weight varies from 43.1 to 51.6 grams, crude protein content reaches 16.9%, and gluten content is approximately 30%. The test weight of the grain ranges from 764 to 800 g/l, indicating good commercial and technological characteristics. The flour strength reaches 320 arbitrary units, making this variety attractive for the bakery industry. The recommended seeding rate is approximately 290 kg/ha, ensuring a stable and high yield, confirmed by a yield of 60.7 centners per hectare over the last three years.
