Myronivska Storichna

Myronivska Storichna — this is a soft winter wheat variety, developed at the Myronivska Research Station and registered in the State Register of Ukraine since 2009. It is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions, where it is best adapted to local climatic conditions. The variety belongs to the mid-maturing group, with maturation periods ensuring high yields of quality grain. Plant height is 90–100 cm, and stems are characterized by high resistance to lodging and breakage, which helps maintain yield.

This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 9.8 t/ha (or 99.7 c/ha), as well as valuable grain quality with protein content of 13–14% and thousand-grain weight of 39–43 g. Grain is resistant to shattering and germination in the ear, which increases its marketability and storage stability. Myronivska Storichna belongs to the high-yield type of varieties, which require standard agronomic practices for the appropriate cultivation zone. Sowing rate is 5.0–5.5 million seeds per hectare.

The variety is characterized by high cold resistance, heat tolerance, and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Cultivation is conducted without fungicides and insecticides, allowing for ecologically clean grain. To ensure stable yield, regular application of mineral fertilizers is recommended. Overall, Myronivska Storichna is a reliable and productive wheat variety widely used for large-scale cultivation in Ukraine and abroad.
