Nebokray

Wheat variety Nebokray is an extra-strong, high-yielding variety recommended for cultivation in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. This medium-early variety is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 8.6–9.5 tons per hectare, and plant height of 95–105 cm. Nebokray has strong grain quality with protein content of 1.4–1.6% and 1000-grain weight ranging from 38–42 grams, making it attractive for grain use.

The variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions: it is resistant to lodging, shattering, root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown and yellow rust, as well as powdery mildew. Its cold resistance is above average (5–6 points), while drought and heat tolerance are high (7–8 points), enabling successful cultivation of Nebokray in dry southern Steppe regions of Ukraine.

To achieve maximum productivity, intensive cultivation techniques with application of mineral and organic fertilizers are recommended. The recommended seeding rate is 4.0–5.0 million viable seeds per hectare.
