Stability and Yield Potential in Winter Wheat

"Kvitka Polyv" is a soft winter wheat variety developed by the Bila Tserkva Experimental Station, designed for farmers who prioritize both high yield potential and reliable crop health. Unlike many intensive foreign hybrids, this Ukrainian variety offers exceptional adaptability to local environmental challenges, delivering a yield potential of 9–10 tons per hectare.

Agronomic Strengths and Disease Resistance

The primary advantage of this variety is its robust biological protection. The breeders have focused on equipping the wheat with a strong immune system against common pathogens, which is crucial for reducing fungicide expenditure. The key benefits include:

• High resistance to root rots and fusarium head blight.
• Strong defense against septoria, powdery mildew, and brown leaf rust.
• Tolerance to mycosphaerella spot.

With a plant height of 80–90 cm, the variety shows excellent lodging resistance, eliminating the need for excessive growth regulators. The awnless (beardless) head type ensures a smoother harvesting process with fewer losses.

Why choose "Kvitka Polyv"?

This variety serves as a "workhorse" for modern farms. With a productive tiller count of 4.5–5.0 million per hectare, it establishes a dense canopy that effectively outcompetes weeds. Its winter hardiness (rated at 7–9 points) ensures survival through fluctuating temperatures and harsh winters. "Kvitka Polyv" is the optimal choice for agronomists aiming for a premium yield from locally adapted genetics, successfully combining European productivity with Ukrainian resilience.
