Mironovska 61 — this is a domestic selection of winter soft wheat, officially included in the state register since 2013. It is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polesie zones, and is successfully used in the steppe of Ukraine. The variety has a medium maturity period of about 278-283 days and belongs to the intensive type with high yield, averaging 5.10 t/ha and maximum yields up to 6.87 t/ha. Plants have strong stems of medium thickness, reaching a height of 83 to 95 cm, which ensures resistance to lodging and allows them to withstand adverse weather conditions. Mironovska 61 exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, gray and brown rust, leaf septoria, and root rots. Additionally, the variety shows high drought resistance and resistance to shattering and kernel sprouting, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions. Erect leaf arrangement improves plant illumination and aeration, allowing for a 10-15% increase in seeding rate and higher crop productivity. The grain of Mironovska 61 has an oval or egg-shaped form with red coloration and an average 1000-grain weight of 40 to 43.1 g. The test weight of the grain ranges from 764-779 g/l, and crude protein content is 12.4% to 16.9%, with gluten content reaching 26.5-32.1%. The high grain quality is confirmed by dough elasticity of about 90%, flour strength, and sedimentation, making this variety attractive to the bakery industry. Mironovska 61 is suitable for conventional cultivation and ensures stable high yields under optimal agronomic practices.
