Winter wheat variety Mironovska — a domestic high-yielding variety, registered in the State Register of Ukraine since 2013 and recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polesie zones. This medium-maturing soft wheat variety exhibits high genetic resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, leaf septoria, as well as resistance to Fusarium head blight, root rots, and hard scab. The plant has a strong, medium-thick stem, approximately 83 cm tall, ensuring lodging resistance without the need for growth regulators. The ear is cylindrical, without awns, with oval, red-colored grains; the 1000-grain weight reaches 43–46.5 g, and the grain density is about 764 g/l. Mironovska wheat demonstrates high drought and winter hardiness, as well as vigorous tillering, contributing to stable yields up to 10 tons per hectare. The variety responds well to microelement application, allowing increased crude protein content (from 13.8% to 16.9%) and crude gluten content (approximately 27.5–30%), ensuring excellent baking qualities. The wintering period lasts 40–50 days, with moderate photoperiod sensitivity and prolonged post-harvest ripening, which is important for optimal grain storage and processing. For maximum yield, crop rotation with predecessors such as sugar beet, soybean, potato, and corn is recommended. The recommended seeding rate is 5–6 million seeds per hectare, with planting depth of 3–5 cm. Due to its characteristics and adaptability to various growing conditions, the Mironovska variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality and stable wheat yields.
