MIRONOVSKAYA 100 is a soft winter wheat variety characterized by medium maturity and high productivity. The vegetative period ranges from 273 to 306 days, allowing the variety to mature slightly later than standard varieties such as Odessa 267, but earlier than Bezenchuk 380. The plants have an average height of 70 to 89 cm, with sturdy stems of medium thickness, ensuring resistance to lodging. The ear is cylindrical in shape, of medium density, with length ranging from medium to long, featuring short awn-like appendages and an absence or weak pubescence on the apical segment of the ear axis. The variety exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including powdery mildew, brown rust, leaf septoria, and root rots. It also demonstrates resistance to fusarium head blight and moderate resistance to brown rust. Drought resistance is high, making it suitable for cultivation in Forest-steppe and Polesie zones. Additionally, the variety is resistant to flagging, shattering, and grain sprouting within the ear, contributing to yield preservation and quality enhancement. The grain of the MIRONOVSKAYA 100 variety has an oval shape with red coloration and an average weight of 100 grains of approximately 43 grams. Grain purity varies from 764 to 821 g/l. The raw protein content in the grain ranges from 14% to 16.9%, while raw gluten content ranges from 26.2% to 30%, ensuring excellent baking qualities. The potential yield reaches 10 tons per hectare, with the variety demonstrating stable performance under various climatic conditions thanks to moderate photoperiod sensitivity and an extended post-harvest ripening period.
