The variety is characterized by early maturity and a short stem, allowing it to successfully withstand delayed sowing. Plant height ranges from 93 to 97 cm, and the glume of the ear has medium-sized, oval-shaped awns with a slanted shoulder. The grain is red in color, and the 1000-grain weight varies from 40 to 43 grams. Khersonska Fortsia wheat has high yield potential — from 8.3 to 11.0 tons per hectare, corresponding to 83–110 centners per hectare. The variety demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as to drought and major diseases, with resistance ratings ranging from 7 to 9 points. Additionally, it exhibits good cold tolerance. The grain contains 13.5–14.0% protein and 29–34% gluten, ensuring high-quality flour with strength ranging from 355 to 515 conditional units. The variety is produced by the company Rost Agro, and the originator is the SGi NTS NS NNAAN from Odesa. The variety is available in big-bag packaging of 1 ton and 50 kg bags, reproduction — elite. The cultivation technology is intensive, and the maturity group is 271–275 days.
