Description Alaxie
The Alaxie corn hybrid is an early, high-yielding variety with strong agronomic traits, designed for grain production. It features high resistance to lodging, drought, and diseases, ensuring stable yields even under challenging climatic conditions. Thanks to its rapid water uptake and early growth, this hybrid is suitable for various soil management technologies, including monoculture, minimum, and no-till systems.

Medium-height plants with cream-colored, dent-type kernels, with 14-16 rows per ear and 34-40 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 300 to 320 grams. The hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance (rated 8-9 out of 9), good cold resistance, and resistance to fusarium. The sum of effective temperatures until grain maturity at 32% moisture is approximately 1820 °C, corresponding to a medium-early maturity period (FAO 300).

Alaxie demonstrates excellent yield potential of up to 18 tons per hectare under optimal conditions and the recommended planting density of 70-80 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is tolerant to common corn diseases and highly resistant to lodging and stem breakage. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe, making it a versatile choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality yields.
