Khersonskaya Ostistaya is a winter wheat variety belonging to the erythrospermum group, characterized by high productivity and universal usage. The grain of this variety is large, long, and egg-shaped, ensuring good technological properties during processing. The variety demonstrates high ecological plasticity, allowing successful cultivation under various conditions, regardless of preceding crops or sowing dates.

Khersonskaya Ostistaya wheat shows high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. It exhibits lodging and shattering resistance rated at 8-9 points, and resistance to root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown rust, and powdery mildew at 7-8 points. Such resistance makes this variety a reliable choice for cultivation in areas prone to fungal diseases and other adverse conditions.

The variety is characterized by good drought and frost resistance, confirmed by successful cultivation in the Kherson region with yields up to 97 c/ha and potential yields up to 140 c/ha. The stem height reaches about 1.20 m, and the plant forms up to 12 stems per plant, contributing to high productivity and lodging resistance. It is recommended to use a complex of plant protection measures to maintain crop health and achieve maximum yield.
