Table Beet Libero

Libero table beet is an early, high-yielding variety developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. The maturity period is 70-90 days, allowing for early harvests whether planted in spring or later. The plant forms a strong, upright leafy canopy with medium-sized green-red oval leaves, providing excellent resistance to dry and hot conditions, as well as sudden temperature fluctuations. The variety is easy to grow and highly resistant to bolting, diseases, and pests. Libero’s roots are round, smooth-skinned, and have a deep red color without white rings. The flesh is dense and juicy, giving the beet exceptional taste qualities. The average weight of the roots ranges from 125 to 230 grams, making them suitable for bunching and processing. Thanks to their uniformity and market appearance, this variety is popular for both fresh consumption and storage and processing. The yield is high, ranging from 1.8 to 6 kg per square meter, confirming its economic efficiency. Libero beet is well-suited for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones and is successfully used in second crop rotations. This variety is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain high-quality and consistent table beet yields.
