WHITE PRINCE

The "White Prince" eggplant variety is an early-maturing and high-yielding type suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary film coverings, especially in southern regions. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of 60-80 cm, with dense foliage and short internodes. Bushes are formed by removing side shoots and excess leaves to ensure sufficient lighting for the flowers, which promotes fruit setting. It is recommended to tie the bushes to a trellis for support and follow a watering schedule—approximately twice a week, avoiding soil drying out.

Fruits of the "White Prince" variety are characterized by a cylindrical shape and white color at the technical stage of maturity, which changes to yellow or violet-black at biological maturity. Fruit mass varies from 150 to 250 grams, the flesh is dense, whitish, and lacks bitterness, as confirmed by vegetable growers' reviews. Due to excellent taste qualities, eggplants of this variety are ideal for baking, making caviar, and vegetable stews.

Cultivation begins with sowing for seedlings at the end of February, transplanting at the cotyledon stage, and planting in open ground at the end of May. After planting, it is recommended to form the plant, leaving 5-8 fruits per bush depending on their size to ensure high yield. The planting scheme is 40x60 cm. The variety is characterized by stable fruiting in different summer seasons and outperforms many known varieties in terms of yield, combining an attractive appearance with high technological qualities.
