Table beet Bettollo F1 — a medium-maturing hybrid of Dutch selection by the company Bejo Zaden, characterized by a vegetation period of about 111-115 days from emergence to maturity. This hybrid is highly adaptable to various growing conditions and develops more actively when planted in warmed, sunlit soil. Bettollo F1 beet is resistant to leaf diseases, ensuring stable and high yields ranging from 3.5 to 6.2 kg per square meter, with a marketable product output of up to 98%. The roots of Bettollo beet are round with a smooth surface, measuring 8-12 cm in diameter and weighing 130-260 grams. The skin is thin and dense, the flesh is dark burgundy, free of radial rings, giving the vegetable an attractive appearance. The beet has a rich flavor with moderate sweetness, high sugar content (BRIX 10.2%) and dry matter (13.3%), making it particularly valuable for fresh consumption and processing. Due to its qualities, Bettollo F1 beet is suitable for fresh market sales, long-term storage under cool conditions, and processing into food additives.
